Apple on Thursday, February 26, announced a brand new media event for March 9, which it calls the “Spring forward” event.
As has been bar for the course with these major events, Apple has also announced that it will be live streaming the event for those who can’t make it to the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco, California. The event, according to Apple, will begin at 10:00AM PT/1:00PM ET. Apple also says to “follow every moment,” which would seem to indicate that it plans on updating its dedicated page with important quotes, images and more content from the event, to bolster the live stream itself.
There’s a link on the landing page that will allow fans to add the event to their calendar.
The event’s live stream will be available through Apple products, including the iPhone, iPad, Macs, as well as the dedicated application available on Apple TV. There’s no mention, as usual, for support for Windows-based computers, even utilizing QuickTime.
As far as what will be showcased, it’s believed that Apple will offer more details on the Apple Watch. It’s also rumored that they could announce a 12-inch MacBook Pro, as well as refreshed MacBook Airs.[via Apple]
