Apple releases iOS 8.3 beta 4 to developers; second public beta to testers [Updatex2]

Apple has just seeded iOS 8.3 beta 4 (build number: 12F5061) for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to registered developers of the iOS developer program.

Apple had released the first beta version of iOS 8.3 on February 9th, the second beta was released on February 23rd and the third beta on March 12th.

iOS 8.3 beta 1, beta 2 and beta 3 have revealed that it will include a number of new features and improvements such as new UI for Emoji keyboard with some new icons, Google two-factor authentication support, Wireless CarPlay, new Conversation List Filtering option and more.

iOS 8.3 beta 4 is compatible with the following iOS devices:

  • iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
  • iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, iPad 2, iPad (third-generation), iPad (fourth-generation), iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina display
  • iPod touch 5G

Jailbreakers should avoid upgrading to iOS 8.3 beta as you will not only end up losing the jailbreak, but you will also won’t be able to jailbreak your device.

Apple has also seeded the second version of iOS 8.3 public beta to testers. Apple had launched the invite-only iOS beta program couple of weeks back.
