If you’ve been in the jailbreaking scene for a while, then you’ve probably heard of a tweak called Alkaline. If you haven’t, then it’s a tool, kind of like Winterboard in a sense, that allows you to theme your battery indicator. Well, Alkaline doesn’t play too kindly with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, so Lithium is here to save the day.
Lithium is extremely similar to Alkaline in terms of usage. It’s very simple and straight forward. All you need to do is open up the Lithium settings and enable it. Once enabled, choose a battery theme. Lithium will come with 2 familiar themes called Habesha and LBI (LiveBatteryIndicator). You can expect to see more themes made in the future, but at the time of this post, I was unable to find any other compatible themes.
Once you make any theme changes, just put your device to sleep and wake it back up for the changes to take effect.
Check out the video below for a live look at Lithium.
This is a free tweak that’s available in Cydia right now, so give it a shot and tell us how it goes in the comments below!
