Stats from ‘Spring Forward’ event: 700 million iPhones sold; Retail Stores visisted by more than 120 million customers, and more

Apple kick started its ‘Spring Forward’ today by revealing some interesting numbers about the iPhone, iPad and the iOS App Store. As revealed by Tim Cook at the event, Apple recently sold its 700 million iPhone, and registered a growth of 49% on a YoY basis in the last quarter of 2014. Most importantly though, the new iPhones received 99% in customer satisfaction — showing how incredible the new iPhones are.

The company started by event by showing some incredible footage from its new Chinese retail stores. Tim Cook revealed at the event that the 453 Apple retail stores across the world were visited by more than 120 million customers. Cook also revealed that Apple has 21 retail stores in China, and plans on expanding them to 40 by the middle of the next year.

Apple also revealed some interesting Apple Pay numbers at its event.
