How is battery life on your iPhone or iPad after updating to iOS 8.3?

iOS 8.3 released a few days back includes a redesigned Emoji keyboard, Wireless CarPlay, new Siri languages, and a long list of bug fixes, stability and performance improvements.

But I’ve hit a major issue after upgrading to iOS 8.3. One of the best things about the iPhone 6 Plus is battery life, but after installing the iOS 8.3 update, battery life has been pathetic. Prior to the update, I could easily use my iPhone 6 Plus for the entire day without charging it. But the battery life is draining so quickly that I have to keep charging it. My iPhone 6 Plus has already run out of battery twice since the update.

I’ve tried every trick to extend battery life such as hard resetting my iPhone, resetting network settings, turning off location services, Background app refresh entirely, enable Reduce Motion and have reduce the default brightness level. But nothing seems to have helped.

My only option is to restore my device, but I’m currently travelling, and in a place where don’t have a great internet connection, so don’t want to risk restoring it. So I am going to stuck with this issue for next couple of weeks. This is the first time since I started using the iPhone that I’ve hit this issue, so didn’t really think twice before installing the update.

The issue doesn’t seem to be widespread, which seems to suggest that I’ve hit some bug that is unique to my setup that is draining battery life.

So I wanted to know how is battery life on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch after updating it to iOS 8.3?
