Along with the updated 15-inch Retina MacBook Pros and cheaper Retina iMacs, Apple also released an official dock for the iPhone with a lightning connector.

Apple replaced the 30-pin connector with lightning connector when it launched the iPhone 5 in 2012, but never released an updated iPhone dock to go along with it. Three years later, the company has finally woken up from its slumber and released an updated dock with a lightning port.

The new dock is compatible with all iPhone models launched since the iPhone 5, including the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. It also works with the 5th generation iPod Touch.

The dock is available for purchase from Apple’s online store for $39, with an estimated shipping time of 1-3 business days.
