Apple releases iOS 8.4.1 beta to developers

Apple has just seeded the first beta of iOS 8.4.1 beta (build number: 12H304) to developers.

We still don’t know what’s new in iOS 8.4.1, but we expect it to include minor improvements and bug fixes.

iOS 8.4.1 beta comes just two weeks after the iOS 8.4 release, which included the all-new Music app that came integrated with Apple Music.

It remains to be seen if iOS 8.4.1 beta patches the vulnerabilities used by TaiG jailbreak and PP Jailbreak. We’ll let you know as soon as we get any more information. It goes without saying that jailbreakers should avoid upgrading to iOS 8.4.1.

iOS 8.4.1 beta is compatible with the following iOS devices:

  • iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
  • iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, iPad 2, iPad (third-generation), iPad (fourth-generation), iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina display
  • iPod touch 5G
