September is generally a busy month, especially for those that follow Apple, as it usually means that new hardware is going to get announced.

Now, according to a report published by BuzzFeed, that trend will continue. The report indicates that Apple will host its annual end-of-the-year event just over a month from now on Wednesday, September 9. The information was passed along from unnamed sources speaking to the publication, and state that Apple will not only announce a pair of brand new iPhones (unofficially dubbed the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus), but also new iPads and a brand new Apple TV set-top box.

The inclusion of the iPhone lineup isn’t that big of a surprise, and even the possibility that new iPads will make an appearance wouldn’t be altogether shocking. However, according to the report, the inclusion of the oft-rumored “iPad Pro” is a bit of a “wildcard” still to this point, so it might not show up at all.

iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are rumored to feature Force Touch, which would add a new dimension to the iPhone’s user interface. The next-generation iPhones are also expected to come with a faster A9 chip, 2GB RAM, a 12-megapixel rear iSight camera and a 5-megapixel front facing FaceTime camera. Apple may also use the 7000 Series aluminium on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus to avoid the negative publicity it received over the iPhone 6 Plus bendgate controversy. The company had used this material on the Apple Watch Sport model first, and claims that it is 60 percent stronger than aluminium used in most smartphones today. Apple could also launch a rose gold-colored iPhones this year.

As for the new Apple TV, it’s said to feature an A8 processor, Siri, as well as support for an App Store and a brand new remote with a touchscreen.

Are you looking forward to see new hardware from Apple later this year?
