Just a couple of days after Apple started taking pre-orders for Apple TV 4, Best Buy has also gone ahead and start accepting pre-orders for the device in the U.S. The retailer is offering the product for in-store pickup or delivery from November 4.
Apple has not provided any details on when Apple TV 4 will be making its way to their retail stores, but the in-store pickup date from Best Buy indicates that the device should be available in Apple retail stores around that time.
The first set of Apple TV 4 pre-orders from Apple are expected to be delivered later this week, with many customers reporting that their order status has changed to “Preparing for shipment.” Customers who ended up going with standard shipping, however, should expect the new Apple TV to be delivered between Nov. 2-6 next week.
The fourth generation Apple TV comes with an A8 chip, 2GB RAM, and 32/64GB storage space. It also comes with a Siri remote that can be used as a controller for the games designed for the device. The device runs on tvOS that provides you with access to Siri, unified search across multiple sources, a dedicated App Store, and more.
Update: Best Buy will start in-store sales of Apple TV 4 from October 30th itself.MacRumors]
