Apple has announced that it will be opening its 21st retail store in China on October 24. The store will be situated in the Parkland Mall in Dalian, in the southern Liaoning Province, and doors will open at 9:30 a.m. local time.
Apple first announced its Parkland Mall store way back in early 2012 with promotional signage that promised it would be the “world’s biggest flagship store.” It’s unclear if that will still be the case — but recent reports have claimed the new Dubai store will claim that title.
No matter how big it is, though, locals will surely welcome the new Apple Store with open arms. Until now, the nearest official store was in Shenyang, the capital city of Liaoning Province, which is almost 250 miles away from Dalian.
The Parkland Mall store, which is on 19 Jiefang Road in the Zhongshan District, will be open Monday to Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time, MacRumors reports. It will also offer the Apple services we’re used to seeing, including the Genius Bar, Workshops, Events, and more.
