Apple has just seeded iOS 9.2 beta (build number: 13C5060d) for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The first iOS 9.2 beta was seeded to developers last week.

iOS 9.2 includes several bug fixes and enhancements related to Safari View Controller. Third-party Action Extensions will now work with the Safari View Controller, which is the new window that opens up when you click on a link in some apps. We had heard reports that iOS 9.2 brings support for Finnish, Greek and Polish to Siri, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Here are the devices iOS 9.2 beta 1 is compatible with:

  • iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S
  • iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad mini, iPad 3, iPad 2
  • iPad mini 3, Retina iPad mini (iPad mini 2), iPad mini
  • 5th generation iPod touch

The iOS 9.2 beta 2 is available via over-the-air update, and through the Apple Developer Center. Apple should also release the public beta soon.

Update:

iOS 9.2 beta 2 includes several bug fixes and improvements including the ability to dismiss the Safari View Controller with an edge swipe. Check our post to find out all the details.
