How is battery life on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch after upgrading to iOS 9.2.1?

iOS 9 - iPhone and iPad - Battery

The iOS 9.2.1 update released last week included some bug fixes and security updates for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. But what kind of impact does it have on battery life? Take our poll and let us know how it’s been for you.

iOS 9.2.1 wasn’t a major update, so it ideally shouldn’t affect battery life. But we’ve heard from some of our readers who say their battery life hasn’t been quite so good after updating to iOS 9.2.1. “Has anyone noticed really bad, I mean really bad battery issues with 9.2.1?” writes MacMan in a recent comment on one of our stories.

“My iPhone 6S will go from 100% to 74% in space of half an hour without use! Last night I killed the battery and charged to 100%, woke up to it at 55%!”

The smaller iPhone doesn’t exactly offer the best battery life, but it is incredibly good at not draining battery when it’s on standby. Drain like this is certainly abnormal, then, but is it a rare occurrence or a common problem with iOS 9.2.1?
