According to TechCrunch‘s Matthew Panzarino, who has both an iPhone SE and the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro in hand, the smaller Pro tablet boasts 2GB of RAM — just like the iPhone 6s/6s Plus and the iPhone SE. However, that means the 9.7-inch iPad Pro is offering 2GB of RAM less than the 12.9-inch model, which offers 4GB of RAM.
Not to mention it’s been confirmed that the 9.7-inch iPad Pro has an A9X processor that is slightly underclocked when compared to the bigger sibling.
Still, it doesn’t look like the new iPad Pro is suffering in the early hands-on time that some folks have had, so the changes that Apple has made might go completely unnoticed by owners out in the real world.
