Dating back to May, Apple has been seeding new, beta versions of its upcoming software. Today, Apple has seeded the second public beta for OS X El Capitan 10.11.6. The new public beta arrives one day after Apple seeded the second developer beta of the same software.
The new software is available through the Updates tab in the Mac App Store for machines that are running the first public beta. The new public beta arrives three weeks after OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 was released to the public.
The new software is minor in scope, focusing on behind-the-scenes tweaks and improvements.
