Leaked iPhone 7 Plus Packaging Confirms Lightning EarPods and Lightning to 3.5mm Adapter in Retail Box

Another day and we have another alleged photo of the iPhone 7 Plus packaging. The photo of the leaked package from China indicates that Apple will be calling the upcoming iPhones as iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus contrary to other rumors.

The packaging also details the contents that will be bundled by Apple inside the retail box of the upcoming iPhones. This includes Lightning EarPods, a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter, and the other usual contents like lightning cable, and USB wall charger. While there have been rumors of Apple including wireless EarPods with the iPhone 7, the chances of that happening are little since wireless earphones cost significantly more than wired ones. We should, however, see Apple release wireless EarPods dubbed AirPods if previous patents and leaks are anything to go by.

iPhone 7 Pamphlet leak

The inclusion of a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter should not be surprising since the lack of a 3.5mm audio jack on the iPhone 7 is going to cause a lot of inconvenience to users, at least initially. Apple usually sells such adaptors at an additional price, but doing so with the iPhone 7 would have subjected the company to a lot of criticism.

The pamphlet also indicates that the iPhone 7 Plus will be available with 256GB of storage space, which previous leaks have also indicated.

Apple is all set to unveil the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus on September 7th next week, which will bring an end to months of leaks surrounding the handsets. Since the upcoming iPhones sporting the same design as their predecessors, it will be interesting to see how the public react to it.
