At this year’s event, Apple took the wraps off some major changes to iWork, which focuses on real-time changes to content.
That big change is real-time collaboration, which Apple showed off on stage after announcing it. The real-time collaboration will work across the iWorks apps: Pages, Keynote, Numbers. Colored bubbles will show up when someone is using the app, and adding content in real-time. Those colored bubbles will correspond to each person working on a project.
Apple showed it off on stage, but wasn’t quick to point out when real-time collaboration would be available just yet. It was a bigger focus on education in general.
