Apple has already staked its claim on Wednesday, September 7, in which the company is expected to announce the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
Now, thanks to a new report from iGeneration, some other products that aren’t the Apple Watch 2 are expected to make their debut on stage, too. According to the report, the publication received an email from the Beats PR team by accident, and in that email it reads that “a selection of new Beats by Dre products will be unveiled,” but unfortunately doesn’t go into any great detail in regards to what those products will be.
The likely bet here is that, at the very least, Apple will be debuting new Beats by Dre headphones that feature Lightning connectors, so that they can connect directly to the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which are expected to not include a 3.5mm headphone jack. On top of that, it’s also believed that Apple could debut truly wireless headphones in light of the new iPhones as well, which could certainly fall under the Beats category if Apple so desired. We’ve already seen that those headphones could be called AirPods.
In fact, just recently, an alleged leaked box for the iPhone 7 Plus indicated that Apple could bundle wireless AirPods right with the new phones, so it would make sense that Apple would want to show them off on stage.[via iGeneration.fr]
