Live video streaming is a big deal, and for anyone who enjoys 360-degree videos, and wants the live variety, Twitter is looking to help.
Periscope, the now Twitter-owned streaming platform, has announced that 360-degree live video streaming is rolling out beginning today. The company noted that, to start, the feature is only available to a select number of chosen partners, but that the feature will be available to more users in the coming weeks.
There will be a “LIVE 360” badge that appears on live streaming videos, and viewers will be able to tap and drag on their device’s screen to change their point of view while the content is streamed live.
