Following a short round of beta seeds, Apple has released the latest public version of watchOS.
Apple has officially released the latest version of watchOS to the public. The new version is watchOS 3.1.3, and it’s a minor update. The new software didn’t add any forward-facing user features through the beta phase, but if any new additions are discovered in the public release, we’ll update this post accordingly. The minor update should be focused on behind-the-scenes improvements, as well as performance enhancements.
To install it, owners must use the dedicated Watch app on their iPhone, then head into General –> Software Update. For the install process to begin, the Apple Watch must be connected to the charger, have 50% battery, and be within range of the iPhone.
Similar to the iOS 10.2.1 update, the watchOS 3.1.3 update only contains some bug fixes and brings about some minor performance improvements.
