Tim Cook Remembers Steve Jobs on Twitter: ‘There is no Reason Not to Follow Your Heart’

Today, February 24, is Steve Jobs’s birthday. On this particular date, the Apple co-founder and legendary presenter would have been 62.

Steve Jobs will be remembered for a lot of things, by a lot of people, and he influenced many more. Apple’s top executives have made it a point to remember their company’s co-founder on the day of his birth, including the company’s current CEO, Tim Cook. In his latest tweet, he remembers Jobs by saying that his words and ideals will “always inspire us.” He then added:

“There is no reason not to follow your heart.”

Here’s that tweet:

Recently, Apple officially announced that the company’s newest headquarters, its spaceship campus, would be known as Apple Park. And, moreover, the theater there on campus would be known as the Steve Jobs Theater.

At the time of publication, Apple has not updated its website to reflect the late co-founder’s birthday.

Steve Jobs passed away on October 5, 2011, following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born on February 24, 1955.
