As the world turns, time marches on, and over in New Zealand it’s already Friday, September 22, as this post gets published on Thursday, September 21, on the other side of the globe.
And, right on schedule, the initial orders for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, the Apple Watch Series 3, and the Apple TV 4K are starting to get delivered to those who pre-ordered each device. Of course, as is par for the course with getting anything new and shiny, many new owners are taking snapshots of their delivered products and posting them to social media, showing off to the world that their orders have been fulfilled.
Unfortunately for New Zealanders, the Apple Watch Series 3 isn’t available with its LTE variant, so it looks like if you want to check out an unboxing of one of those ahead of your own delivery, you’ll have to wait for Australia to get into the launch time window — which won’t be long.
From there, the rollout will continue, including Japan, China, Germany, Italy, Ireland, and many more, to the United States and Canada.
As it stands right now, many of Apple’s retail sites are opening their doors at around 8:00 AM local time, and many of them should still have some stock available for Apple’s newest products, including both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. You can always check with Apple’s online store first, to see if your local store will have any stock waiting for pick-up when September 22 rolls around.
So, which device, or devices, are you waiting to get your hands on when September 22 rolls around in your neck of the woods?[via MacRumors]
