A week after dropping the second beta of iOS 11.1, Apple has released the third beta of iOS 11.1 for developers and advanced users. The second beta of iOS 11.1 contained a number of new features including hundreds of new emoji and the 3D Touch App Switching gesture.
So, with the third beta dropping just after a week of the second, it is likely that it only contains bug fixes and tweaks to the features introduced in the previous beta.
It is also possible that the third iOS 11.1 beta contains Apple Pay Cash functionality and also re-introduces Messages in Cloud feature. The final version of iOS 11.1 is expected to release later this month with all the above features.
In addition to the third beta of iOS 11.1, Apple has also seeded the third beta of tvOS 11.1 and watchOS 4.1 to developers with minor bug fixes.
If you are a public beta tester, expect the public beta of these releases to be available for your device tomorrow. We will update this article if we come across any major new changes in iOS 11.1 beta 3. And if you come across any change in the latest beta, drop a comment and let us know about it.
