Apple Launches iTunes Movie Sale with 4K HDR Bundles Starting at $19.99

If you, or someone you know, happens to love movies and wouldn’t mind getting a bundle of 4K HDR content, Apple has just launched a new promotion that may appeal to you.

Apple has officially launched a new holiday iTunes Movie promotion, which sees bundles of 4K HDR movies going on sale starting at $19.99. The movies are separated by their respective studios, so you’ll see options from the likes of Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Universal Studios, and Lionsgate. From each studio you’ll find genres like Action & Adventure, Drama, Comedy, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, and others.

Apple seems pretty excited about the whole thing:

“We’re so excited about movies in 4K HDR on Apple TV 4K that we want to help kick-start your collections. Explore a variety of specialty priced bundles, divided by studio and genre, and start building your library in this amazing picture quality today.”

Each bundle has three 4K HDR movies inside, and they range quite a bit in options. The Action & Adventure Collection from Warner Bros. is a Ben Affleck affair, with both The Accountant and ARGO being offered, but they also include Into The Storm, a movie about a series of tornadoes hitting a small town, which was released in 2014. The WB Sci-Fi & Fantasy Collection starts off strong with the original Blade Runner: The Final Cut, and then offers I Am Legend and Jupiter Ascending.

Links to each of the collections are available below if you’re interested and want to check them out. Considering each 4K HDR movie usually costs $19.99, this is definitely a deal. Especially with Apple charging more than $30 for the Standard Definition version of the same collections.

So, here are the offerings:

Sony Pictures

20th Century Fox

Universal Studios
