The Beats brand is familiar with custom kits, with a wide range of colors and options out there for the family of headphones.
This week, Apple introduced another pair of customized headphones for those who happen to be super fans of a particular football player. The Beats Solo3 Wireless Neymar Jr. Custom Edition headphones are now listed as “coming soon” on Apple’s digital storefront, with no specific date given for a launch. They are priced at $349.95, and they certainly host a striking design.
According to Apple’s description of the new headphones, the graffiti-styled design is meant to serve as a callback to Neymar Jr.’s childhood growing up in São Paulo, Brazil. It’s also meant to serve as a tribute to the player’s “Shh…” tattoo. There is also the number 10 on the inside of the headband, the same number the player wears on his jersey for Paris Saint-Germain.
“Inspired by the graffiti-writing style from the São Paulo streets where it all began, the Beats Studio3 Wireless – Neymar Jr. Custom Edition honors Neymar’s strength of character. The design is a tribute to his famous “Shhh…” tattoo, representing his ability to adapt to anything, on and off the field, staying true to himself.”
The exceptional design aside, the newest pair of Beats Solo3 Wireless headphones are similar in features to the other standard options. That includes the inclusion of Apple’s W1 wireless chip for easier pairing to Apple products, active noise canceling (ANC), and a long-lasting battery.
The last time Apple launched a pretty radical customized edition of the Beats Solo3 Wireless headphones was late last year when the companies helped Disney celebrate 90 years of Mickey Mouse with some unique headphones.
