Apple today rolled out the fifth iOS 12.4 beta to developers. This will likely be the last beta release of the OS before its public release next month and ahead of the release of Apple Card.
Apart from fixing some minor bugs and improving system stability, iOS 12.4 update also prepares the Wallet app for the upcoming launch of Apple Card. The company’s upcoming credit card service is expected to disrupt the sector in the United States with its approach of no fees whatsoever. It will even actively encourage users to pay off their credit card dues to reduce interest fees.
If you are already running iOS 12.4 beta on your iPhone or iPad, you will automatically get the update to beta 5 via OTA. Go to Settings -> General -> Software Update to check for any updates on your iPhone or iPad.
iOS 12.4 is likely going to be the last major release of iOS 12 from Apple, with the company focusing on iOS 13 launch in September after that.
