Fitbit Versa 2 Leak Hints at Alexa Integration, OLED Display, 4-Days Battery Life

In the recent past, Fitbit is trying hard to strike the right balance between fitness and smartwatch features. The Fitbit Ionic and Versa lineups serve the purpose by offering compelling smartwatch feature whilst retaining fitness quintessential. Fitbit is already readying Versa 2 and the packaging along with the device have been leaked.

The Fitbit Versa 2 is likely to go on sale on September 15. The latest from Fitbit comes equipped with an OLED display with 2.5D curved glass and a battery life of more than four days. Furthermore, the smartwatch is capable of saving up to 300 songs for offline usage. The music can be accessed by pairing Versa 2 with Bluetooth headset.

The leakster claims that Fitbit Versa 2 will offer 15+ exercise mode, steps counter, sleep monitoring, floors, and 15+ exercise modes. That apart, Fitbit is also expected to offer SpO2 feature. The Fitbit Versa 2 is expected to support Amazon Alexa and users can direct queries like asking for the weather, dictating messages and setting timers directly to the watch. The Versa 2 is expected to be available in purple, black, blue, pink colors. You will also get interchangeable bands to mix and match.

As far as availability is concerned, Versa 2 will be announced on August 2 and will be available starting September 15. In all likelihood, Versa 2 will be priced at $200. Fitbit is currently facing stiff competition from full-fledged smartwatch like Apple Watch. It is for this reason that Fitbit too started bundling smartwatch feature with their fitness trackers. The company is also serving organizations with corporate wellness programs with Fitbit Wellness.
