Apple has started accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro series — three days after announcing them at its ‘By Innovation Only’ event.
The company had also announced the Apple Watch Series 5 and the 7th gen. iPad at the event. These two devices went up for pre-order immediately after the event, though they will ship to customers on the same day as the new iPhones — September 20th.
Unlike last year, Apple is accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro series at the same time. One notable change that Apple has made to its pre-order process this time around is the time itself. For the iPhone 11 series, Apple will start accepting pre-orders from 5:00 a.m. PDT/8:00 a.m. EST. That’s a bit later in the morning and more reasonable than the company starting pre-orders right in the middle of the night as on previous occasions. The iPhone 11 Pro series is meant for ‘pro’ users and it features an impressive Super Retina XDR display, A13 Bionic chip, a triple-camera system, new matte finish design, and vastly improved battery life. The iPhone 11 packs largely the same internals as the iPhone 11 Pro but comes with a Liquid Retina display and a dual-camera system.
The iPhone 11 Pro starts from $999 while its bigger brother, the iPhone 11 Pro Max, starts at $1,099. The iPhone 11 now carries a lower price tag of $699. Find more details about the pricing and availability of the iPhone 11 Pro series here.

A sure shot to increase your chances of your pre-order going through early is to make use of Apple’s Apple Store app and try pre-ordering through multiple devices.
Apart from the Apple Store, you will be able to pre-order the new iPhones from your carrier’s website and other popular retailers like Best Buy, WalMart, and Target as well. You will also be able to pick up the new iPhones from Apple’s retail store, your carrier’s retail store or Apple Authorized Reseller on September 20, the official release date of the iPhone 11 series.
