Alongside iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 updates, the Cupertino-based tech giant has also released new OS updates for the Apple Watch, Apple TV, and the Apple HomePod today.
The Apple Watch gets the watchOS 6.1.1 update. The new software version comes almost a month after the brand rolled out watchOS 6.1. The new firmware, unfortunately, does not bring any new feature to the table. Instead, it offers bug fixes and performance improvements. With the latest update, the already snappy watchOS should now feel even faster.
Moving on to the Apple TV, it gets the tvOS 13.3 update. If you recall, the tvOS 13 had replaced ‘Up Next’ in the top shelf of the Apple TV’s home screen with ‘What to Watch,’ Well, after receiving feedback from customers, Apple has packed the new firmware with an option to select between ‘Up Next’ and ‘What to Watch’ sections. That’s the only new feature the new firmware offers.
Coming to the HomePod, it is receiving the HomePod OS 13.3 update. According to the changelog, the new firmware adds the ability for individual family members to enable/disable personal requests. It also improves the ability of the HomePod to recognize the voice profile of family members. The update fixes an issue that could prevent music playback from resuming on a stereo pair after a phone call.
