Apple has released the fifth beta builds of iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 today to developers. The newest developer beta releases come one week after the release of iOS 13.4 Beta 4, iPadOS 13.4 Beta 4, and tvOS 13.4 Beta 4. The latest versions can now be downloaded and installed on registered beta testing iPhones and iPads.
The iPhone maker has released the iOS 13.4 Beta 5 and the iPadOS 13.4 Beta 5 updates to compatible iPhone and iPad models. These updates are only available to developers who have registered themselves with Apple’s beta testing program. The first developer beta versions of iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 were released more than a month ago.
The iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 beta updates have brought new features such as iCloud Drive folder sharing, the CarKeys API, tweaks to the Mail app’s bottom bar, and video streaming/downloading quality options for the Apple TV app. The Photos app has received keyboard shortcuts on the iPadOS platform. Moreover, the iPadOS 13.4 update also brought the ability to remap keyboard shortcuts when an iPad is paired with keyboard docks.
The updates also brought new Memoji stickers, an internet-based recovery system for iPhones and iPads, and the usual bug fixes and performance improvements. We still don’t know what’s new with the fifth developer beta releases of iPadOS 13.4 and iOS 13.4, but we expect the company to squash some bugs and improve the performance of the whole system. We will update the article with new features, if any, as soon as possible.
If you’re a registered developer, you can now download the iOS 13.4 Beta 5 and iPadOS 13.4 Beta 5 updates on compatible models of iPhones and iPads from the Apple Developer Center or via the OTA (over the air) update method once those devices have the appropriate configuration profiles installed. If you find anything new with these updates, kindly let us and everybody else know via the comments section.
