Apple will include a new watch face in watchOS 7 likely carrying the name “International” which will show flags from different countries. References to this new watch face have been found in iOS 14.
It is unclear how many countries this new watch face will support and if it will have any other features. It is possible that the flag will automatically change if the user visits another country.
A previous leak had revealed that watchOS 7 will come with a new Infograph Pro watch face that will allow users to add a tachymeter to their Apple Watch. It will allow users to measure speed and distance based on time.
Apple will also allow users to share their watch faces with other Apple Watch users using AirDrop, iMessage, and other apps. However, not all watch faces will be shareable like the ones that are exclusive to the Nike and Hermès variant of the wearable. Other new features that watchOS 7 will pack include Sleep tracking, Kids mode, Schooltime, and an improved Health app. It is unclear if Apple will bring Sleep tracking to all existing Apple Watch variants or keep it exclusive to the upcoming Apple Watch Series 6. The latter is also expected to offer improved ECG and have the ability to measure blood oxygen levels — a feature that is found on selected Fitbit models.
From all the leaks that we have seen so far, it looks like watchOS 7 is going to be a bigger upgrade than iOS 14. Are you excited about watchOS 7 based on whatever you have read so far?
