A new investors note from investment group Susquehanna claims that while Apple will launch 5G iPhones in September, selected models will see a delayed launch in December 2020 or January 2021.

With 2019 now over, Apple is now probably focusing on all the new products and services it plans to launch in 2020. This year will be an important one for the company as it is expected to launch 5G iPhones along with some other breakthrough and radically different products.
Rumors about the 2020 iPhones keep trickling in. The latest one claims that 2020 iPhones will come with touch integrated display which will be supplied by LG.
A Credit Suisse report, a Swiss multinational bank, believes that Apple is currently finalizing suppliers for a notchless display that it plans on using on an iPhone in 2020.
A new report once again claims that Chinese display maker BOE will be supplying OLED panels to Apple for the 2020 iPhones.
Apple is expected to launch 5G enabled iPhones next year. The rumor mills have been predicting a price increase for 2020 iPhones. Apparently the increase in price is attributed to 5G modem. Famed Apple analyst Kuo says that Apple will not significantly increase the price for 2020 iPhones. In other words, the 2020 iPhones will be priced similar to the current iPhones with only a marginal increase in price.
Apple might end up using custom battery protection module from ITM Semiconductor which could be almost 50% thinner and lighter in size. This could allow Apple to free up more space internally which could be used to slightly bump the battery capacity.

JP Morgan analysts believe that Apple will launch not three but four iPhone 12 models in 2020 with 5G. The analysts believe that Apple will launch two iPhones with screen sizes of 5.4-inch and 6.7-inch, while the other two models will feature a 6.1-inch display. These four new iPhones will be in addition to the iPhone SE 2 that Apple reportedly plans on launching in Q1 next year.
