A new bug has been discovered in iOS that can crash your iPhone or iPad. The crash will occur whenever a user is sent a string of characters in the Sindhi language along with the Italian flag emoji in Messages or other apps on their iPhone or iPad. The crash will be triggered by the incoming notification of the message.
Telegram, one of the more popular messaging platforms out there, was facing a longstanding lockout from Apple, which meant the app couldn’t receive any updates.
Telegram’s CEO has notified its users that some of the features of its apps like stickers might not work correctly under iOS 11.4 despite the issue being fixed weeks ago. This is because Apple is preventing Telegram from updating its iOS App globally ever since Russian authorities have asked the company to remove Telegram from the App Store.
Russian Telecom Watchdog Gives Apple One Month to Respond to Request to Remove Telegram from App Store
Back in mid-April, the Russian telecom watchdog had asked Apple to remove Telegram from the App Store after banning the app across the country based on a court order.
After banning Telegram, the Russian government has now sent requests to Apple and Google to remove the messaging app from their respective app stores.
Last week, Telegram, one of the more popular messaging apps out there, was suddenly and unceremoniously pulled from the App Store.
